Oil City Confidential

We had a nice time at the cinema last night. It was an interesting concept - first the film about Dr. Feelgood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr_Feelgood) - principally the main protagonist still alive (Wilko Johnson) - followed by a satellite broadcast concert live from London of Wilko's current band, featuring two of the Blockheads who we've been to see recently - Norman Watt-Roy on bass and Dylan Howe on drums. There was even a guest appearance from Alison Moyet.

We managed a beer first of all in Archibald Simpson's - it was steak night - ale and steak for £5.99! Gary complained about not being able to get the remnants of his steak out from his receding gums after demolishing this lot:

Happy headbanging!

Ian
