As we passed the witching hour in to my birthday, Gary surprised me with a cake:
Even better, he produced this vintage classic that had been sitting in his house for some time now, unopened:
Naturally, we had to celebrate in time-honoured manner:
Great evening - and thanks for the cake and card, guys!
We now have to decide on a date for the next headbang - do we wait until October, or should we try and get at least one more in before then? It looks likely that we may have a new recruit as well - Ian McRae has expressed an interest.
Jeb suggested a couple of themes last night for the next session - Plagiarism and Guitar Heroes. I've got plenty of material on the latter (BBC ran a Guitar Heroes season last year), but I'll need to do some research for the former - we can all think of the obvious - My Sweet Lord/He's So Fine etc - but I wonder what else we can come up with? Suggestions always gratefully received - under confidential cover, of course!
Happy headbanging!
Ian
