More rock connections immediately opposite our old haunt, the Guinea Grill in Bruton Place:
On our way to the Guinea, I suggested a slight detour to view the site of the Beatles famous rooftop gig. I maintained it was Savile Row, where Apple was headquartered for a while, but Dave begged to differ. We wandered down Savile Row anyway and got as far down as the low odd numbers and then spotted this building:
CK's secret pad?
Incidentally, the rooftop concert was a couple of doors down from this at No. 3 Savile Row, but we were distracted by Animals Rights campaigners protesting about Huntingdon Life Sciences.
Lastly, there is yet another 40th anniversary to celebrate at the next headbang - Glastonbury!
