London trip (2)

From http://banchoryheadbangers.blogspot.com/

On Saturday night after the cricket we hot-footed it over to the Royal Albert Hall for the Crosby, Stills & Nash gig. We made it in time for a swift G&T/glass of wine:

C, S & N were pretty good - Steven Stills obviously fancies himself as some kind of guitar god, judging by the number of long, wailing guitar solos he played, but that aside, they were in pretty good shape - Graham Nash looks as fit as a flea, and even David Crosby was alert enough to make a few jokes about his past and the effects it has had on his body and mind.

They opened with Woodstock, played most of the expected material - with the odd exception of Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - and also featured some "new" songs, which they jokingly (I think!) said they were going to feature on their next album, including:
  • Girl from the North Country
  • Norwegian Wood
  • Ruby Tuesday

You might see some of them at the next headbang!
