Gary was beginning to wilt a bit and it was time to pose for the team photo before he wandered off home - in front of the fourth most popular whistling song, as voted for and listed in the earlier blog posting:
So we moved on to the last section, which was a random list of requests carried over from previous headbangs and newer recordings never previously viewed at headbangs:
- Regina Spektor - Real Love
- Raconteurs - Carolina Drama
- Arcade Fire - Modern Man
- Kings of Leon - Pyro
- Black Keys - Howlin' For You
- Talking Heads - Psycho Killer
- Louise Marshall (& Jools) - Father Time
- Decemberists - The Wanting Comes in Waves
- Monty Python - The Lumberjack Song
- Nils Lofgren - Goin' Back
- Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me
- Montrose - Bad Motor Scooter
- Bob Dylan - Cold Irons Bound
- Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen in Love
- Ray Davies & Mumford & Sons - Days/This Time Tomorrow
- Beatles - Revolution
- Travelling Wilburys - End of the Line
- Hole - Skinny Little Bitch
- Ian Dury & the Blockheads - Abracadabra
- Motorhead - Ace of Spades
It was at this time that Malcolm hit the wall and headed off with Colin and Ian. Gerry, Andy, Dave and I stayed on and we watched a few more before our taxi arrived:
- John Cooper Clarke - I don't want to be nice
- Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man
- Small Faces - All or Nothing
- Dr. Feelgood - Riot in Cell Block No. 9
- Biffo Clyro - Many of Horror (When we collide)
- Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues
- The Band - King Harvest Has Surely Come
So that was it - a total of 63 videos watched - a further 8 were planned for last night but we started a bit later than planned and also had a few discussions about some of them, which slowed down the evening a little. I'll carry those 9 forward to the next headbang (some of them have now been carried forward 2 or 3 times now!).
So now, the final votes - please let me have your three favourite clips from last night in 1-2-3 order.
