Newton Faulkner

CK and I were at Woodend Barn last night, avec femmes, for the Newton Faulkner gig, which was the first standing gig we'd ever been at at the Barn. It was a younger crowd than usual, but they were pretty noisy, chatting virtually all the way through.

I wasn't awfully impressed, if I'm honest. I thought a lot of his stuff was very same-y and I'm never very keen on the use of electronic beat boxes etc. My wife was even less impressed and we ended up leaving before the end - something I don't think I've ever done before.
