- 7:30 pm - OBITUARIES - Our traditional starter. Currently sitting on 22 musical connections who have passed since our last gathering - and presumably there'll be a few more in the next 3 weeks. There are a number of offbeat/not usual headbang material tracks which will be yellow carded, and not all of the artistes will have tracks played, so I'll budget for this section to be no longer than 45 minutes.
- 8:15 pm - SEPTUAGENARIANS - Always second up. This time, we have 19 who will have passed their 70th birthdays since our last meeting and there will be 15 tracks played here, which should take about another hour.
- 9:15 pm - KNIGHTS OF THE REALM - I intend for this to be another regular feature for those musical artistes awarded KBE's in the Honours List. For this first one, we'll catch up with the 4 previously knighted Brits plus the most recent one from the Queen's birthday in June.
- 9:40 pm - BREXIT BLUES - 4 tracks inspired by the events around 23rd June.
- 10:00 pm - PLACE NAMES QUALIFIER - Appropriately, this semi-final of songs with place names in the title is a match between the UK & the Rest of the World. I have selected and pre-numbered 12 songs from each team and we'll have a blind draw to determine which 4 numbers from each side will be played in this round. We'll then vote on which team makes it through to the final to meet the winner of the North American group, who have been divided in to 4 sections, with their play-offs featuring at the next Headbang.
- 11:00 pm - GLASTONBURY 2016 - A regular feature at this time of year. I've selected 10 tracks from artistes old and new, which should give us a flavour of the event.
- 12:00 am - TIME - As we wind down the clock, we feature 9 tracks with the word Time in the title.
- 12:30 am - Team photo and close.
Timings are approximate. If we finish before the taxi arrives, we may have a brief REPRISE section.
As usual, the focus is on videos that have never featured at previous Headbangs - only a couple have had prior viewings.
Thanks to all for their suggestions, which helped inspire some of the themes and tracks to be played.
