Headbang programme - 17th January, 2020

At the time of writing, the programme for this Friday's Headbang is as follows:

1. 'GENARIANS - New title, but it's all Septuagenarians this time - just 7 who have reached three score years and ten since our last gathering just 7 weeks ago.
2. OBITUARIES - Likewise, only 4 notables have passed
3. FAREWELL GIGS - 12 tracks from what was supposed to be their swan songs, although many turned out to be like Sinatra. Spot the real from the fakes.
4. OFFSPRING - Originally a suggestion from Dave for our radio show, which I've taken on board for the Headbang. Lots of new faces as we play 11 tracks by artistes with musical parentage.
5. MURDER BALLADS -  A theme we have already used for one of our River Dee Radio shows, but I've now managed to dig out suitable videos for 7 of them. Prepare to be depressed.
6. KEEF'S RIFFS - does what it says on the tin.
7. WILLIE DIXON'S LEGACY - Hopefully the first in what turns out to be a series featuring famous, mostly non-performing, songwriters.

The latter two themes will be quick run-throughs - i.e. we won't play the tracks all the way through. Depending on how the timing goes, I have another two themes in reserve that we can use - NOTABLE ABSENTEES (4) and BEST OF THE BEST (2).
