I've received Dave's and Gary's nominations (and mine, of course) for the tune they would want played at their own funeral, but nothing yet from the idea's instigator, Jeb, nor Colin, Gerry, Ian, Malcolm and Steve - Andy too, although he did respond to say that his funeral song won't be written for another 50 years yet!
Early responses appreciated to give me time to source the videos etc in time for The Day the Music Died Headbang (3 weeks today).
I stumbled across this article today - http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/arts/music/article3284635.ece?CMP=EMCeb7. Obviously great minds think alike - even The Times has latched on to the idea! Doesn't look like there are too many ideas in this article that would suit our Headbangers, however.
