Some logistics first of all. Malcolm has had to pull out as he's in KL, and Jeb, Gerry, Ian, Steve, Gary and I are golfing at Kemnay that afternoon. We will have eaten before the headbang, so no curries for us, but that leaves Colin, Dave & Andy to fend for themselves. If Dave & Andy want curries, then please let CK know - and, if you do decide to get them, make sure you have a few spare poppadums and pakoras for the rest of us to nibble on!
Our plan will be to be back in Banchory to be in good time to leave in Stan's taxi from the Douglas at 7:30 pm and hopefully start the headbang before 8:00 pm, with a target finish time of 12:30 am.
I have new Video Editing software that I've been experimenting with, so I've been able to truncate a number of the videos we'll be playing to squeeze them all in to the available time - we already have 27 Obituaries and it's quite possible this might increase before Friday. The traditional and topical themes for this Midsummer Headbang in both Jubilee and Olympics year are:
- Obituaries
- Septuagenarians
- Today's birthdays
- Summer songs
- Colours
- Olympic Games
- Regal Jubilee
Yellow cards will be in force again, but use them judiciously. Two yellows required to reject a video.
