Sitting here in Seattle airport waiting for our flight back to the UK, I thought I'd do some blogging to pass the time.

Unlike Seattle, I didn't come across many headbanging connections in either Idaho or Oregon, although I had to do a double take when I spotted the gardener cutting the grass beside our apartment in Idaho:

No, it wasn't Seasick Steve - but he was riding a John Deere and wearing the hat - same as SS himself.


I also came across this advert for a Donovan gig when we were in Oregon:

Sounded a bit too mystical for me - and anyway, Dave and I had seen him do his Sunshine Superman reprise at the Albert Hall just last year, so I passed on this one.
