- Obituaries - the primary focus will be 4 songs from each of the Everly Brothers and Lou Reed, plus one each from two of the others who have passed since the last Headbang
- Septuagenarians - there are 10 well known artistes who have reached 70 since our last shindig, but I'm going to exercise a little quality control and only play 9 of them. The odd one out is one half of a Cockney duo - not being played on my watch.
- Connections - a new feature, split into 3 parts, each with 5 songs. The idea is to spot the links from one song to the next and get them in the right order, so that we start and end with the same artiste. Much less complicated than it sounds.
- Wrong Title - another new theme, and one for which I thought I would be swamped with suggestions, but none have been forthcoming, so I've had to come up with 10 of my own. You will know the real titles, but each one could/should have been called something else, in my view. Tell me what you think the alternate title is and then we will have a show of hands to figure out which title is the more appropriate one.
- Singing Drummers - this theme has been waiting in the wings for a while and finally it gets a run-out.
- Guess the Label - another new idea. 8 Artistes, each of whose records appeared on/is closely associated with a different label.
We are a group of rock music fans who meet three times a year to show rock music videos, played through a sound system and projected on to a screen. We also have a themed show on River Dee Radio (https://tunein.com/radio/River-Dee-Radio-s274232/) at 8 pm each night - tune in for some rock music history.
