A little belatedly, here are the results of (almost) all the votes cast after the last gathering. First of all, the votes for the themes:
The Jukebox maintained its popularity but the other themes - with the exception of Rock Goes to College - weren't all that far behind.
When it comes to everyone's 3 favourite tracks, it was a very close contest:
Bobby Gentry just pipped Coolio on countback with 6 Headbangers including it in their top 3, compared to 4 for Coolio. The Top 4 tracks above were far and away the most popular - there wasn't much between the remaining 10 nominations. Interestingly, although Rock Goes to College didn't fare at all well in the voting for best themes, 2 of the tracks from this theme made the nominations above.
Conversely, although the Jukebox was voted the best theme, only 1 track from this section was featured in the 14 nominations above. Obituaries and Crime did best with 4 nominations each.
