The next Headbang on 14th June could have a slightly jazzy flavour, judging by the latest news:
You always learn something new from reading these obituaries - the revelation that Ginger Baker used to play with Terry Lightfoot's band was something I wasn't previously aware of. His connection with fellow Obit Kenny Ball is interesting too as are the mentions of Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee - not to mention Louis Armstrong.
The Times did get round eventually to providing an Obituary for Clive Burr as well:
I think we should start a sweep - guess how many Obits there will be at the next Headbang?
